The latest film “Crew,” starring Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu, made a strong debut at the box office, raking in Rs 30 crore over its opening weekend. However, the movie saw a decline in earnings, with a 60% drop on its first Monday. This downward trend continued with earnings further decreasing on Tuesday, indicating a gradual slowdown in box office momentum. Despite this, the film managed to collect Rs 3.25 crore on Wednesday, maintaining a steady stream of revenue amidst the weekday lull.

“Crew” follows the story of three air hostesses played by Tabu, Kareena, and Kriti, whose lives take a dramatic turn when they discover a dead passenger smuggling gold biscuits, against the backdrop of their airline facing bankruptcy. The film has been released in over 2000 theaters across 75 countries and more than 1100 locations, with an estimated budget of Rs 60 crore covering production and advertising expenses.

Receiving mixed reviews upon its release, “Crew” has been praised for its star-studded cast, including Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Sharma, Saswata Chatterjee, Rajesh Sharma, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. However, film critic Saibal Chatterjee highlighted a lack of genuine inspiration in the film, giving it a rating of 2 stars out of 5.

Produced by Balaji Telefilms and Anil Kapoor Film & Communications Network, “Crew” offers an entertaining blend of drama, comedy, and suspense, making it a must-watch for fans of the leading ladies and the ensemble cast.
