
Samsung recently launched its new touchscreen phone in India, Samsung Champ (C3300). This tiny handset is the cheapest touchscreen handset in the market so far.
It has a 2.4 inch QVGA resolution touch screen, 1.3 megapixel rear end camera and connectivity features like Bluetooth and USB port. Looking more into specifications, this phone includes everything apart from 3G networking. It supports GPRS/EDGE technology for networking browsing, media phone with 3.5 mm music headphone jack, FM radio, supports java, social networking, and video recording and loading in MP4 format. It comes with 30MB internal memory and a card slot supporting up to 8 GB microSD card. Also, with a 1000 mAH it has a reasonable battery life of about 12 hrs talktime and up to 666 hr standby.
It has some small similarities with Samsung’s Corbys in terms of themes, the camera picture quality is good and so is the sound output but it does not feature DNSe. It also has the Accelerometer feature for UI auto rotate.
The phone approximately costs around INR 4100, making it the cheapest touchscreen phone in India. The phone is available in market for purchase in Deep black, Espresso brown, Sweet pink and Chic white colors.
